She Stands... United - Tegan Thomas

Firstly how amazing are theses blogs ladies?! Seriously if you haven’t read them yet go back and do it! We’re so blessed with these ladies and their words!

As a church we are a team and we have many teams within that team! And it’s important to have a team work that everyone’s on the same page!
A football player wouldn’t go out on the field as completely disregard everything the team agreed to work for to make sure they have the best game!
(I never thought the day would come that I use a football analogy to get my point across but here we are!)
In the lead up to the game the team works out a game plan! They strategise, work out each play and who is going to do what. Every player in that team is valuable to the game to make it work and bring home the win.
Similarly, in church each and every member of the congregation is a valuable player. Firstly without them there wouldn’t be an us. Each person plays a different role yes, but we all have the same goal.
Ultimately we are here to help people build relationships with God.
The best way that we can do this is as a team be united in how we act, how we treat others and how we live outside our fall walls!
In our youth team what we constantly encourage our creative and leadership team is it’s 2% on stage and 98% off stage. But these two things coincide with each other. Our life we live “offstage” or the other 6 days of the week have to line up with our church lives!
It seems a little cliché to write on unity within a team but with our big move coming up so fast this is the time we really need to buckle up and work together to see the plan that God has mapped out for us succeed, to us bring home the win. To see hearts won for Jesus.

“Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Have an amazing week gals!
Teegs xoxo
