She Stands... Bold - Karen Duncan
Daring, brave, unafraid, heroic, confident and courageous are all words to describe bold.
I would not call myself bold. Boldness is not particularly one my strengths as my personality is to take the back seat and not to be in the limelight.
Being bold can push you further than you want to go. Writing this blog has pushed me far far out of my comfort zone! But our heavenly Dad gives us the courage to be bold when we need to be.
Hebrews 13:6 says “So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me”.
Sometimes we need to be bold and fight for those who cannot stand up for themselves. Sometimes we need to be bold and love the one who hurts us. Sometimes we need to be bold and love the unlovely. Sometimes we need to be bold enough to love our children unconditionally even when they do things you do not like, as we continue to discipline and direction them.
Sometimes we need to be bold enough to champion others on in their growth and journey with their walk with Jesus, even when they exceed our own growth. Sometimes we need to be bold and share the wisdom that God has given us, as we negotiate through our own journey because He does not allow things to happen to us without a plan and a purpose and ultimately a testimony.
So bold can be quiet and shy, but strong.
Have a fantastic week being bold
Love Karen xoxo
