She Stands... Bold - Julie Lardner

One of my favourite scripture verses is found in Hebrews 4:15-16 but I found a whole new love for this verse when I found it in the Passion Translation. Check it out:
Hebrews 4:15-16 TPT
[15] He understands humanity, for as a Man, our magnificent King-Priest was tempted in every way just as we are, and conquered sin. [16] So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy's kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.
I love how Jesus understands that we are human and that we make mistakes. I love how Jesus himself knows what it’s like to go through hard and difficult and tempting situations. And even though Jesus didn’t let any difficulty or temptation overcome Him, He still understands that we will get a little sidetracked sometimes. We all make mistakes and yes, sometimes those mistakes are in the “should know better” basket.
But look at verse 16 where it says that we have the absolute privilege and honour to enter Gods throne room where there is forgiveness and grace and mercy waiting freely for us. Let’s never hesitate to go and enter this beautiful place. For it’s in this place where we will receive the strength to overcome whatever it is that’s trying to keep you bound and broken.
No matter your season or difficulty or temptation there is always enough forgiveness and love and grace to cover us at all times. My life is a constant testament of His endless love and grace. He’s never failed me yet. God has always covered me with everything that I need to face any situation..
My part is to always, always, without fail have the boldness to go to Him. Time and time again because His forgiveness and love is always there. This God, our God, our Jesus is the best way there is and I just want to encourage someone today that if you think your to far gone that God could never accept you well I hope these words find you. Because our God is waiting with open arms for you to boldly enter where Jesus is there with the gift of forgiveness and salvation.
If that’s you please don’t run away from God anymore, but run into the loving arms of our Father.  I really hope you know just how much you are loved.
Much Love,
Julie x
