She Stands in Truth - Leanne Bentley
“No matter how plain a woman may be, if truth and honesty are written across her face, she will be beautiful.” - Eleanor Roosevelt
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading these blogs so far and have got so much out of each one. It truly is a privilege to walk through the journey of life with so many amazing women who champion each other on. And one of the things I love most about this is that each one of us is so different, yet together we are a force to be reckoned with.
I really am so glad that God just didn’t ‘clone’ human race - I mean how boring and bland would that have been?!?!
Instead he intricately made each and every one of us and ordained each of our days before we were even earth side!! That to me says that He knows our past, He knows our present, He knows our future, He knows our battles, He knows our tears, He knows our joys and HE HAS GOT IT!!
I think truth and honesty resonate from the inside out and I firmly believe that no matter what it is vital to be honest with yourself and with others. It might not seem like it all the time but in the end truth will always prevail and when we know truth and live truth - it will set us free!!
One area of truth I think women struggle with is being true to yourself!!
Yep being YOU, being true to who YOU are, being true to who God has called and destined YOU to be. Jumping out of the boxes someone may have put around you, smashing down the limitations you may have put on yourself, getting rid of other peoples expectations and living a life of freedom because you are being YOU and not trying to be someone you are not and never were meant to be!! God doesn’t want you to be me and He doesn’t want me to be you - that is why He made each of us so unique.
I want to encourage you to be truthful to yourself, be who you are and actually be free to be that - there is so much freedom in that alone. Stand firm in truth, stand firm in who He has called you to be, love you, love the skin your in and be true to you.
Love Lil xx
